01/ Operations

FedEx Ground last-mile

Daily pickup-and-delivery operations: line-haul intake, sort, route assignment, on-road execution. We run to FedEx Ground service standard — not a courier-app facsimile of it.

02/ Vehicles

Fleet, maintained ahead

Sprinter and step-van fleet on a preventive maintenance schedule, not a breakdown reaction loop. DOT-compliant logging. Spare units on standby for peak weeks.

03/ Geography

Central Missouri corridor

Routes anchored in the St. Louis, Springfield, and Columbia metros and the corridors between. Local terminals, local drivers, local owners — locally accountable.

04/ Reliability

Peak-season planning

Capacity planned a quarter ahead. Holiday volume absorbed without service degradation. The customer doesn't notice us — they just get their package, on the day they expect it.

§ 02Standard

Four principles.
Nothing fancy.

The boring stuff is the work. Hire the right drivers, pay them well, maintain the fleet, hit the scan rate, show up on the worst day of the year. Do it again tomorrow. That's the business.

    Drivers come first

    Competitive base pay. Performance bonuses tied to safety, scan rate, and attendance. Tenure rewards at 1, 3, and 5 years. The job is hard. We pay for it.

  2. ii.

    Maintenance is not optional

    Trucks roll on PM cycle, not on breakdown. Fleet downtime is a planning failure — and we plan for it.

  3. iii.

    The scorecard is the scorecard

    FedEx Ground service performance, safety, and on-time delivery are the only metrics that matter. We don't optimize for vanity.

  4. iv.

    Local accountability

    When a package is missing, a driver is hurt, or a customer is upset — the owner picks up the phone. No regional support line three states away.
